A Well Established Network

Through our Government Agency Partnership with the Recovery Works Program, which is part of the Division of Mental Health and Addiction under the Family and Social Services Administration, State of Indiana, 2nd Chance Indiana became familiar with the Indiana Regional Recovery Hubs. By partnering with three members of the group (LITE, Thrive, and Safe Haven) that are strategically located throughout the state, in the last 9 monts 2nd Chance Indiana has developed a system that has been transporting 88 reentrants to and from work daily to 27 employers in 22 cities and towns within 14 Indiana counties.

The Future

2nd Chance Indiana hopes to secure additional grant funding in order to address the Indiana's transportation deserts (area without access to any form of mass trasportation) on the west and southeast portions of the state.
